The usually barren pier was now somewhat occupied.  The setting sun glinted off of Lupa's hair, making her seem to  glow with a dark light.  She and a bunch of Dauntless had agreed to meet up, do Dauntless things.   Race each other to the Ferris Wheel, maybe climb it or something.  Who knew?  At any rate, she was obviously the winner, her speed nearly undisputed among her year.  So she waited for the others to catch up, ready to gloat a tiny bit over her victory.

Wolf was sitting on one of the carts on the Ferris Wheel. It was a good few feet up, which he liked. It gave him a sense of solitude. That's when he heard someone running towards him. Surprisingly enough, it was the girl he met before. Lupa, he recalled her name being. She didn't seem to notice him as she stood by the Ferris Wheel, and he was wondering if she would keep running somewhere else...but then he noticed the other Dauntless running towards them and he sighed. He moved so that he was hanging off the cart and then dropped down with a thud as he hit the ground. He looked over at the girl, crossing his arms. "Hey there."

Lupa heard someone behind her, and was instantly deflated. How in the heck had anyone beat her? But the voice was only vaguely familiar. She did a full one-eighty and blinked in surprise. Wolf. She hadn't invited him, unfortunately, so why was he here? Her gaze flicked upwards, a cart still swinging from where he must've jumped. "Hey," she said. She glanced over her shoulder. The other Dauntless she'd actually invited where still pretty far behind. Lupa let out a snort of laughter. "I always seem to bring the slow-pokes," she muttered, half to herself. "So, what's Mister Grumpy Face doing out here?"

JonSnow

"Guess you do." He replies, his face slightly showing amusement. Then she asked what he was doing and here and shrugged. "Getting away from the Compound for a bit. Just kinda...thinking about things. Needed some alone time. But I suppose this could work too." He walked over and leaned against the Ferris Wheel, his hands moving down into his pockets.

Lupa couldn't help but smile. She crossed her arms as he went to lean on the Ferris Wheel. "Hmmm. You do seem like a Thinker. Social time is just what you need," she said. Now, she could see the approaching group through her peripheral. God, were they trying to be slow?

JonSnow

He raised an eyebrow when she said he seemed like a thinker. "And what exactly is that supposed to mean?" He looks to the group as they run towards the Ferris Wheel...and wondered how people could be so slow. He scratched the back of his neck and then crossed his arms once more. He looked back at Lupa and turned his body towards her again and took a step or two forward.

Lupa's smile grew a bit more. "It means you're too quiet." She noticed he took a step towards her, so she took a small step towards him. "But that seems to be fixable".

JonSnow

Wolf's lips slowly curved up into a small smirk. "Is being too quiet such a bad thing?" He watched as she took a step towards him as well and commented on how his quietness seems to be fixable. "Yeah well...I usually don't have someone to talk to. Or have anyone that I enjoy talking to."

Lupa

Lupa

Lupa looked as if she was thinking about what to say next. Her eyes flicked away, like she was trying to avoid his. Another small step forward. Then her gaze flicked back to him, square in the eyes. "So, are you saying...you enjoy talking to me?" she asked, tilting her head to the side a bit.

JonSnow

Wolf looked up for a second, wearing a thoughtful expression and said, "Well...didn't exactly say it...I implied it." He looked back down at her, not even noticing he took another step forward and they were only a few inches apart. He kept his eyes trained on hers and noticed himself smiling...not a smirk, but a genuine smile.

Lupa

Lupa

Lupa found herself having to tip her head up to look him in the eye. Somewhere, she registered how close they were, but it didn't seem to be a concern. She was more focused on the fact that he had cracked into a smile. A real one. "Either way," she gave a shrug as she spoke.

JonSnow

Wolf simply nodded and then looked into her eyes...and slowly realized he was getting lost in them. He didn't know how long he held her gaze before he felt himself leaning towards her. His eyes slowly closed and after that he felt his lips touch hers gently. He kept his head close to hers, pulling away slowly as his eyes began to open to look into her eyes again.

Lupa

Lupa

Surprise was Lupa's most obvious emotion, her eye wide, lips almost parted. For almost too long, she just stared at him; it was so unexpected, yet so obvious at the same time. Then, before she realized it, she'd placed one hand on Wolf's shoulder, the other on the side of his face and returned the kiss, a little stronger. When she pulled back, she let go of him and took a step away, a bit of color evident on her cheeks.

JonSnow

Wolf smiled. It was a sweet, simple smile, but a smile nonetheless. Then he felt her put a hand on his shoulder...and his cheek...and then her lips were pressed against his. This managed to get a very slight chuckle after she broke away from him and took a step away. He took a step towards her, pretending not to notice her blush, and put his arms around her. He was grinning at this point, not even realizing what was happening. But he was changing...and whatever feeling he was aware of, he knew he enjoyed it.

Lupa

Lupa

Lupa couldn't help but return the smile. After all, this was the first time he'd actually seemed happy... ever. And wasn't that her goal? "Ho Ho! Looks like we caught ourselves a couple of love birds!" a voice said, followed by a few chuckles. Lupa grew redder as she realized the other Dauntless had finally shown up. But after a second, she shook it off and looked at the three she'd actually invited. "You guys are the slowest bunch of idiots I've ever met.""

JonSnow

Wolf stood there, feeling as though nothing could ruin the moment. He would've said so as well, but he heard a voice and chuckling and he turned to look at them, letting go of Lupa, his smile instantly vanishing. He managed to keep himself from punching someone and heard Lupa say something about them being slow idiots which managed to get an amused sound out of him."Yeah...seriously, how long did it take you to get here? Better question, how did you pass initiation?"

Lupa

Lupa

The three seemed to shrink back; they hadn't expected to be picked on. Then the only girl put on a smile. "We just wanted to give you guys some space," her voice trailed off in a playful manner. The other two, both male and possibly twins, seemed to like that excuse. "Riiiiight," Lupa responded, her face now clear of red as she shut them up, "So, are we going to climb this thing or what?"

JonSnow

Wolf rolled his eyes when the girl told them they wanted to give him and Lupa space, and was about to point out they had no way of knowing he was even here since he didn't begin running with them, but before he could Lupa said something about climbing and he looked up. "Sure...hope you three are better climbers than runners." and with that, he walked over to the Ferris Wheel and began to climb, making his way to the cart he had been on. He looked back to see where they were and how far they'd gotten. He didn't expect the other three to have gotten very far, considering their performance earlier.
