Question about Canons

Ok, so how are canons going to work? I noticed that some people, two admins to be exact, already have some and I don't think that's very fair. I think that everyone should have a chance to apply for a canon with some sort of form. Then the staff can review all the submissions and decide which is the best. I don't think that staff should have a better chance of getting a canon. It's just not fair.

Yes, but no worries I've been planning to set that up. I'm going to make a list of open Canon characters and have a form to apply for one. Then, once we have viewed the sheet a staff memer will accept it.

I understand with the whole canon thing but also while trying out for the canon characters I know that before being on other rp sites that it sometimes causes conflict and makes others scared to try out because they are scared of rejection. I just know this from experience with it. I've been roleplaying for almost four years now.

Although, it is unfair and selfish of me to say this and I know there's others that'd feel the same way but I really had my heart set out on playing Tris but I know it's a common character people have interest in. :/ I just don't like having to put it all the work to make her and then just later have someone snatch it from me. I know this sounds incredibly whiney(sp) and selfish but I'd just thought it's better to share my opinion than to keep it to myself because we all have our differences and that's a fact.

I have a suggestion. What if, for now(since we still have so few members), if you wanted a canon you could simply ask an admin and then you would just fill out the character sheet for them. I think that'd be fair. After all, I don't think there'd be much competition for the different canons because we only have 6 members. Plus, it would encourage members to role-play more and we could really get the site going!

That'd be best for now and I think you should only be limited to one canon each,that way it is fair and works best.
